Well, first obstacle.. working out a watering schedule.
We have successfully prepared our plot and planted our beautiful vegetables. We are coming to realize what a challenge it is to get over to the garden everyday for watering. Trying to negotiate our odd work schedules. Realizing when things are out of site they are out of mind.
High Country Farm and Garden Tour
Hello all-
Had the pleasure of seeing the garden on May 27. CFSA has invited the Leola St Community Garden to be on the annual High Country Farm and Garden Tour, the dates are July 22-23 from 1-5 pm both days.
I've been working with Matt Cooper on the specifics. I'd like to be able to get the finished maps and brochure for the tour to your meeting for everyone to see and help distribute.
This will be a great opportunity to tell more people about your project. Let me know if you have any questions.
