Attn..Karen, some suggestions?

I was wondering if there is any way, because i have noticed when i log on that several visitors where checking out the site, we can have a "basic" information (i.e. mission, location, meeting times, etc.) place on the site so those who are simply inquiring will have the basic tools for understanding the site as well as if they want to become involved (might include involvement in the information as well). Thanx?
