it has yet to be decided whether or not there is a "due" for having a plot. maybe it should stand that to be a memerber one...
1. pays so much for a plot. in return they are provided with tools, a monthly newsletter, attend monthly meetings,
if someone does not a plot but wants to be a member thats okay too.
if someone wants to work in the community or permaculture area maybe there won't be any dues. they will still be required to folow the guidelines.
i think we also need a contract that is signed for members stating they will follow the guidelines, etc.
give me some feedback on this please.

I do think dues are in
I do think dues are in order. We could arrange for sponsorships or wavers where there is need. Any extra beds could have cover crops and folks could reserve them for next year.
Should there be any restrictions on what can be planted? The possibility of invasive perennials or posionous plants might be considered, and maybe shrubs and trees. Would it be too much to have a short list of plants that are not tolerated, and someone authorized to remove them on sight?
Will compost be provided, or a place to compost the weeds? Members would have to agree not to let their weeds go to seed but that seems like a pie in the sky concept; in practise we are sure to get some weed seeds to deal with.
Maybe some of this is not important enough to be bothered with at first. I certainly don't want to be bogged down with too many rules, or with enforcing them. If we can at least get people to only harvest what is theirs by right, that might be enough for starters :)
