guidelines
i will not be able to come to wednesday night's meeting but i wanted to provide information about the guidelines up to this point. here are the ones we discussed at the last meeting with some revision. There are some assumptions
being made..that we will have plots, that there will be a tool shed, etc
Connity garden members agree to:
1. refrain from any forms of hate or prejudice.
2. have something planted in their plots by (Date here). plots that have not been planted will be given to someone else.
3. letting the garden "leaader" know if they are unable to continue to work their plot
4. all tools will be returned to the garden shed after use. tools are not permitted to leave the garden
5. plots will be maintained and contained within the provided space. Plants from one plot are not to be placed where another plot will be shaded.
6. refrain from working or collecting in another member's plot unless they have been asked to do so.
7. refrain from using fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides. the garden will follow organic gardening principles.
8. supervise their children at all times
9. particpiate in general garden maintanence including seasonal opening and closing and general upkeep
10. pets must be kept on leashes at all times. pet owners are responsible for cleaning up their pet's "business"
ideally these will be presented in a postive fashion as opposed to a list of do nots. someone with a little word savvy could help me with that.
